Greg joined Setfords as a Consultant Solicitor in 2011 and specialises in Property Litigation
Greg specialises in :
- Residential Landlord & Tenant including possession proceedings, breaches of covenant,
rent arrears and disputes with managing agents. - Commercial Landlord & Tenant including forfeiture proceedings, lease disputes,
dilapidations, disputed lease renewals or terminations. - Building, Construction and Engineering Disputes including work involved in arbitrations,
adjudications and proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court. - Neighbour & Land Disputes including easements, rights of way, adverse possession
and boundary disputes and advice on restrictive covenants. - Professional Negligence claims against property professionals such as Builders,
Surveyors and Solicitors. - Possession Proceedings against squatters and trespassers
Greg is an experienced advocate and regularly represents clients in the County Court.
Greg also undertakes general civil litigation including commercial litigation and recently enjoyed success as the instructing solicitor in the Court of Appeal case of Bright Asset Ltd v Simon Lewis [2011] EWCA Civ 122 - an appeal about the interpretation of an agreement entered into between a shareholder and managing director of a failing company and a company providing corporate debt solutions.
